Important deadlines for the submission of conference materials:
Before August 29, 2007 please submit: - Summary of your presentation in Word (max. 1 A4 page) - Short overview of your biographical information in Word (max. 150 words) - Speaker registration
Before September 10, 2007 please submit: - PowerPoint presentation (max. 5MB)

Presentation Submission After the event, all PowerPoint presentations presented at DECX Europe 2007 will be published on the event website. In order to enable the delegates to easily download the presentations, please make sure that the PowerPoint presentation does not exceed the maximum size of 5 MB.
Presentations should comply with the following general requirements: - Not sales-oriented* - Do not feature company name, logo and contact details - Do not include brand names of any products - Reflect new information or new developments - Don’t be too general; a specific viewpoint is preferred - Presentations should not have been presented at any other event, unless they contain new information and have been adapted for the audience - Conference language is English
* Commercial presentations will not be accepted; the conference management reserves the rights to delete any commercial references.
Subsequent Publishing of Presentations Authors may have their presentations included in the trade press and/or distribute reprints provided:
- Publication or distribution does not occur before the presentation at DECX Europe 2007;
- Mention is given to the DECX Europe 2007 Conference & Exhibition in subsequent reprints.
Audiovisual Equipment All conference rooms have been equipped with a laptop, beamer and microphone. If you need any additional audiovisual equipment please contact the conference management.
Timekeeping Each speaker has 25 minutes for his/her presentation, with 5 minutes being allocated to questions from the audience. When you are preparing your talk we suggest you plan for a presentation time of 20 minutes; this will give the chairman enough time to introduce you. Please ensure that your presentation does not run over the time allocated. |
